The University of Georgia looks at two examples of how they use Argos to meet institutional needs and streamline processing of student data over what baseline Banner provides.
The first example is Financial Aid Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) discrepancy comparisons, where the University was able to save over 60% of weekly processing time. The second example, from the Registrar’s Office, addresses the need for customized and attractive verification letters that plug into the regular process of students requesting letters via Banner SSB (Self-Service Banner) and the registrar’s processing through Banner INB (Internet Native Banner). UGA will cover both the functional needs and the steps taken to arrive at these technical solutions.
