Argos and MAPS 6.12 Now Available

Evisions has released version 6.12 of Argos and MAPS. This update to our enterprise reporting solution and platform server focuses on expanding secure authentication and maintaining key reporting compatibility.

  • SAML authentication for MAPS has been expanded to support requests that are IdP (Identity Provider) initiated. Previously, it could only support SP (Service Provider)-initiated SAML requests. With this new method, users can seamlessly navigate from the Identity Provider directly to the MAPS Server, bypassing the login screen altogether.
  • The Argos DataBlock Connector (part of the Argos Connect advanced feature) has been updated to maintain compatibility with Tableau. A recent update by Tableau to their Software Development Kit (SDK) required a corresponding update on Evisions’ end in order to continue supporting our Argos/Tableau users.

Watch this video for more information on these enhancements.

This release also includes maintenance updates and bug fixes. For more detailed descriptions of all updates, please see the release guides for Argos 6.12 and MAPS 6.12.
